Official Competition Rules, Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an entry to Miss Authenticity Australia, the entrant (and their parent/guardian if under 18) confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by all rules, policies, and conditions outlined in this document.
Section A — Entry & Payment
2. Entry Fees & Payment Schedule

A 50% deposit or full payment is required at the time of registration.

The remaining balance must be paid within six (4) weeks of the entry date.

All fees must be paid in full before the event unless otherwise approved in writing by the Director.
3. Refund Policy

All fees paid to Miss Authenticity Australia are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, under any circumstances.
Section B — Eligibility & Participation
4. Eligibility & Accuracy of Information

Entrants must meet the age and eligibility requirements for their division.

Proof of age and/or identity may be requested at any time.
-
Any false or misleading information may result in disqualification without refund.
5. Health & Assumption of Risk

Entrants confirm they are medically and physically fit to participate.

Participation is entirely at the entrant’s own risk.

Miss Authenticity Australia accepts no responsibility for any injury, illness, or medical costs incurred.
Section C — Conduct, Behaviour & Values
6. Personal Conduct & Character
Entrants must uphold the values of Miss Authenticity Australia and conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively on the organisation, its Director, staff, judges, sponsors, and partners.
Entrants confirm they:

Are of good character

Have not engaged in behaviour that may bring the organisation into disrepute

Have not participated in nude or explicit content and will not do so during the competition or reign

Have not committed any serious criminal offence
7. Behaviour & Representation
Entrants must behave respectfully and professionally at all times during the competition and at any appearance related to Miss Authenticity Australia.
8. Respect, Harassment & Defamation

Bullying, harassment, intimidation, or defamatory behaviour (in person or online) will not be tolerated.

Any harmful or false statements about contestants, judges, staff, the Director, or the organisation may result in immediate disqualification.
9. Social Media & Public Conduct
Any online behaviour that damages the reputation of Miss Authenticity Australia or its participants may result in removal from the competition or loss of title.
10. Sportsmanship & Supporter Behaviour

Good sportsmanship is expected at all times.

The Director reserves the right to remove any contestant or supporter who causes disruption or behaves inappropriately.
Section D — Judging & Competition Authority
11. Judging Decisions

All judging decisions are final.
-
No appeals, disputes, or score breakdowns are required to be provided.
12. Conflict of Interest

Knowing a judge, sponsor, or organiser does not guarantee placement.
-
Any attempt to influence results will result in immediate disqualification.
13. Right to Refuse Entry or Remove Participants
The Director reserves the right to:

Refuse entry to any applicant

Remove or disqualify any contestant
-
Terminate any placement or title
At their discretion.
Section E — Titles, Prizes & Responsibilities
14. Titleholder Responsibilities
Any crowned titleholder agrees to:

Represent Miss Authenticity Australia positively and respectfully

Attend agreed appearances and fulfil reasonable duties
-
Maintain behaviour consistent with the values of the organisation
Failure to do so may result in removal of the title.
15. Forfeiture of Titles & Awards
If a contestant is disqualified or steps down, all crowns, sashes, trophies, and prizes must be returned in the condition received.
16. Responsibility for Pageant Items
Once awarded, all items become the responsibility of the recipient. Miss Authenticity Australia is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage.
Section F — Media, Promotion & Intellectual Property
17. Media Release & Promotion Consent
By entering, contestants grant Miss Authenticity Australia permission to use their name, image, likeness, voice, and biographical information for promotional and media purposes, without compensation, across all platforms now and in the future.
Contestants acknowledge that audience members, sponsors, and media may also capture photos or video at the event.
Section G — Logistics & Expenses
18. Personal Belongings
Miss Authenticity Australia is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
19. Travel & Accommodation
Contestants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel and accommodation.
20. Hair, Makeup & Wardrobe
Contestants are responsible for organising and paying for their own:

Section H — Event Management
21. Official Communication
All official information will be provided by the Director or authorised representatives only.
22. Changes to Event
The Director reserves the right to modify dates, venues, schedules, or program format if necessary. Such changes do not entitle contestants to a refund.
Section I — Legal & Administrative
23. External Affiliations
Contestants must inform the Director of any changes to their representation, agencies, or pageant affiliations.
24. Minors

A parent or legal guardian must provide consent for entrants under 18.

The parent/guardian agrees to these terms on the entrant’s behalf.

25. Limitation of Liability
Contestants agree that Miss Authenticity Australia, its Director, staff, judges, and partners are not liable for any loss, injury, damage, or claim arising from participation or travel.
